Perhaps vulnerability increases as you step up the notch, or else why would the pain be so irremediable when all of a sudden we come crashing down?

Mr YKH had a talk with Wanqin and I right after school. The result I have gotten for my Chinese compo was somewhat moderate but the words that came out from him was totally disheartening.

Maybe he is right, I shouldn't be just marching on the same spot when everyone is progressing at a pretty fast pace. Maybe I have been complacent all the while.

Now I do not know what to expect anymore, I do not dare to even aim for an A1 for Chinese now. A1 seems very far for me to achieve, after all he has said.

I guess what I should do is to etch his words deep enough in my head so it serves to remind me to improve, or I might end up going backwards.
